At the same time, we are always proactively seeking partners who will help us bring imagery to the general consumer.”

About the Sierra Wireless - Wavefront Developer Program
The Sierra Wireless – Wavefront Developer Program was established to find best-in-class enterprise or consumer applications that take advantage of the mobile broadband and GPS capabilities built into Sierra Wireless PC cards, ExpressCards, and USB modems. As part of the first phase, written applications were submitted by groups focusing in all sectors of the developer community, including those developing for Location Based Services (LBS), New Media and Social Networking. The second phase involves the participants creating working prototypes of their applications.

All shortlisted applicants will be provided with a Sierra Wireless mobile broadband adapter and a software development kit, as well as support from Sierra Wireless and Wavefront to assist in building their applications. The developers will also have access to Wavefront’s rich mobile business industry knowledge as well as technical knowledge and test environment. Best-in-class winners will be selected in October and will be considered for promotional consideration and incorporation within Sierra Wireless products, which are distributed by mobile network operators worldwide.
